ABSTRACT
This work researched the instructional problems associated with the performance in secondary school technical education by students in yaba
. A hundred and twenty questionnaires were distributed among parents and teachers from selected secondary schools in yaba. Interviews and surveys were also conducted.
Primary and secondary data were used in the analysis. Tables and percentages were used as the instrument of analysis.
It was observed therefore that poor infrastructure, poor library and laboratory, lack of qualified teachers are some of the problems of teaching technical education in Secondary school. These has a negative impact on the development of technical education in secondary schools. Also, there is a strong relationship between the problems and the development of technical education in secondary schools.
